listen to her at the beginning. she said “this is for all the girls who hate their boyfriends” and then sings 7 things. DUH! the songs about hating them and then realizing that the things you hate most about them is what makes you love them. so obviously by saying that, she says i still hate you, but she means i still love you because thats the complexity of the song.
