Selena Gomez is famous for her role on the Disney Channels Wizards of Waverly Place, but she has gained even more attention since she started dating Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers.
Selena appeared in the Brothers music video Burnin’ Up, and began dating Nick shortly afterward. Recently in an interview with the E! network Selena joked that if the JoBros wanted to stay out of gossip magazines they should “Just put boys in [your] videos from now on; how ’bout that?”.
But soon Selena will be more involved with music than just appearing in her boyfriends music videos.
This year Selena will release her debut album, which is still a work in progress, “Once I come out with my music, you’re going to see a whole different side of me. Different hair, different clothing, different attitude.”
As we reported, Selena will be releasing the album with a band, rather than try her hand at being a solo pop star. Selena said of her future music, “I basically want to make music that is fun and that parents and kids can jump around to and have a good time to,” she said. “I will be singing, and I’m learning drums and playing electric guitar.”
We can’t wait to see what she turns out!
