Miley finally apologized for the “racist” picture of her with her friends…although it doesn’t sound much like an apology to us.
Miley wrote on her fan site:
“Ive also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces! Well, Im sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context!
In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity! I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy? It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would of been anyone else, it would of been overlooked! I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new ‘BAD GIRL’!”
I feel like now that Britney is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on! Lucky me! haha Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what is on my heart. You guys know me and have been by my side every step of the way!
You guys know my heart and know the most important things to me are my friends, family, fans, and GOD! In NO WAY do I want to disappoint any of you! But, when I have made mistakes in the past, I feel like Ive owned up to them and apologized.
Anyway, I really wish everyone would stop focusing on my personal life and get back to focusing on what I love! Music and Acting! Hopefully, I will be touring again this fall! Yayy! =] It will be a nice change to be back out on the road again! xoxo Blessings.. Miley =)

I think she didn’t even have to apologize, but she did to get the story done. It was one of those things where someone bugs you so much you just cave in and say, “OK, OK I’m sorry, all right?!” and that’s pretty much what it seems like here. she seems annoyed that people pick on her for it, and it’s true. They make her seem to bad and mean! But I bet she’s not.
Miley is kind of obnoxious, isn’t she? The pictures aren’t really a big deal, but if people are offended, she should at least try to sound sincere. She’s victimizing herself by saying everybody’s picking on her… And she needs some grammar lessons…

The thing about being the the public eye and being a role model for little girls is that you have to watch what you put out there. Her apology sounds more like she’s mad at people taking offense at the picture than realizing that what she did is considered very, very racist. She’s just young and immature, like most teenagers. Just needs to take a second and actually think about how things may look. No one forced her to be in the picture.
If anyone reading this made that face in a photo, no one would say it’s racist, that’s her point. If it was bad then it would be worse if she did it becuase kids look up to her, but it wasn’t bad. The media are just out to make people look worse because bad news sells. When you’re famous everybodies dying to see you fall.

Poor Miley. Its pathetic how rude people are and how inconsiderate people are also! Miley is young and the picture looks like its some kind of inside joke between her and her friends. Everyone in the picture is making the same face. Would it of been OK if the Asian Guy made the same face? Let me guess.. the media would of said he was Mexican or something. We live in a sad society. When we stoop as low as tearing a young girl apart for doing the same things other kids her age do is sad. Hannah Montana is the idol for young girls so keep their relationship on Disney. As for Miley she’s a cute girl who people envy. Don’t hate her. Isn’t that considered fake anyways? You don’t even know her. Let God judge her just as he will you. You weren’t made for that.
