Originally released in 1940, the Walt Disney Classic Pinoccho is being re-released this month (March 10th) for it’s 70th anniversary.
The fairy tale is about a lonely woodcarver who carves a little boy and makes a wish that he could be real. The Blue Fairy comes down into the woodcarvers home and makes Pinocchio real. Pinocchio befriends Jiminy Cricket and his maker Geppetto. The three characters get into riveting adventures and tricky situations throughout the film.
The movie was Walt Disney’s second animated feature, only behind Snow White.
Pinocchio will be released on special edition DVD and BluRay. The DVDs will include deleted scenes, trivia, deleted songs and an alternate ending.
Is anyone planning on buying it?
