While Wizards of Waverly Place stars Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin are filming the upcoming Wizards movie in Peurto Rico they helped feed and rescue stray dogs for the charity DoSomething.org (of which Selena is the new ambassador).

Selena took to her MySpace page to write about it:

“I’m honored to be the new ambassador for DoSomething.org! The last time I was in PR shooting Princess Protection Program we noticed all of these stray dogs and puppies. We ended up finding out that Puerto Rico has a “dead dog beach” its sounds worse than it is but people actually kills dogs for fun here..”
