The Third Season of Disney’s Hannah Montana has kicked off in the United Kingdom to amazing results. It is the UK Disney Channels most popular series premiere ever! The combined total audience for Hannah Montana the first week was 3.2 million people with half of them being between the ages of 4 to 15 years old, which is also the channels biggest attraction of the year! Another Disney Show, which also did really well was The Cheetah Girls: One World which brought in an estimated 484,000 viewers.
The Vice President of Programming for Disney Channels UK & Ireland Jonathan Boseley had this to say: “These record-breaking figures are a testament to the strength and relevance of our programs and demonstrate the popularity of ‘Hannah Montana’ with kids and families across the UK.” and “The third series features even more great new story lines and characters and we’re confident the phenomenon will continue to grow in the UK.”
Hannah Montana has been a hit in the US since it launched on March 24, 2006 and when it debuted in the United States it reached an audience of over 5.4 million viewers, which was the Disney Channel’s highest rated show ever.
