It looks like Disney has decided to wipe the HSM slate clean with the next installment of the series, High School Musical 4. As we already knew, none of the old characters including Troy and Gabriella are coming back, but it looks like the younger generation of Wildcats aren’t invited either! Two of the sophomore characters, Matt Prokop and Jemma McKenzie-Brown, have told the press that they have not been asked back for the Disney Channel Original Movie HSM 4.

Jemma said, “I think it’s been decided they’re going for a whole new route with it which is a shame but I had a really good time doing the third one.”

Are you guys happy or upset about this? We didn’t much like the younger cast in HSM, but we’re a little concerned about what Disney is going to do with HSM 4 without any characters we know returning…
