Zac Efron’s new movie, 17 again, doesn’t open to the public until next weekend, but a lot of the media have already seen it and what they have to say is making us a little nervous.
One newspaper said, “Production values are so-so at best, with an unusually loud music soundtrack obliterating much of the dialogue. In this high school, no one ever goes to class, the kids are too old, and Efron is too short for a basketball star, but otherwise, ’17 Again’ is the epitome of realism.”
We were really hoping for this movie to be fantastic because if it bombs in the theater we don’t think Zac will become as “serious” an actor as he is hoping for. We still have our fingers crossed for this one!

I think that it will be just fine! Some critics really exaggerate sometimes!! A.) Zac played a major basketball star in “High School Musical!” Did people forget about that?!? And who says you have to be 6’3″ to be a star on a HIGH SCHOOL basketball team?!?! C’mon people quit the stereotypes!
Annnnd the movie is called “17 Again” and to be honest how REALISTIC is it that someone would actually be able to turn back into their teenage self?! nOT very REALISTIC at all; so what do you expect?! iF they want to use older actors, let them use older actors!! Don’t let it ruin the movie for you! C’mon people!! I swear i should be a critic!! It’s going to be my retirement job! What do you think??!
Ha.
Other sites have declared this film as “One you should not miss!” and a hilarious “light comedy”. I’m excited to see it and of course, it will be nothing more than merely something as simple as 27 Dresses. And yet, 27 Dresses was one of my favorite romcoms.
Personally, I think this is a nice film for Zac to do, but in order for him to be taken seriously, he MUST gain strength as an actor.
DO GOOD MOVIES!
