Demi Lovato And John Mayer Are Twitter Friends

For the past few weeks, Disney’s Demi Lovato has been having a conversation through Twitter with singer John Mayer.

In the beginning, like any friendly relationship, Demi began by tweeting “Hi” to John, but soon the two were developing a bustling relationship through the social networking site and having, gasp, full conversations!

We are so excited for what happened next! John Tweeted the other day that he thinks Demi’s song La La Land is sophisticated! He also said to her, “You’re going to make lots of records, I can tell. Write one song at a time, never apologize for any of them, ever. From ‘Wonderland’ to Trio stuff, they’re all my kids.”

To which Demi, who was currently spending time with her BFF Selena Gomez, wrote, “Holy crap. Thank you. You’re so awesome. That is quite possibly the best compliment I’ve received in this business. … If that’s not inspiration, then I don’t know what is! You’re incredible.”

Turns out Demi’s next album takes some advice from John. In an interview earlier this year Demi said about her album, “It’s going to take a different sound, so hopefully it goes over well. I sing a lot of rock, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully, I can write with people like him. I love their music — it would be amazing.”
