Selena Talks About Her Family

Selena tells us how much she values her parents being in her life. They support her career and her personality, and they always know how to have fun.

On Supporting Her:
“My mom and stepdad are my two biggest supporters. But they also keep me very grounded. Coming out to L.A. and having all these people say ‘Yes, you’re perfect’ – it was my parents’ job to be there and say, ‘No, you’re not. You still have to do your chores!”

On Having Fun:
“I like to just drive around and get lost with my parents – I think it’s fun. We’ve had some of our best moments in the car.” Aside from in the car, her family also has fun at home: “We’ll go rent movies and buy a bunch of junk food and hang out in our sweatpants. My parents used to embarrass me, but now I embrace their silliness. My mom likes to rap. She just likes to be crazy, but at the same time be a mom. I laugh and I enjoy it!” We’re so jealz! We wish our mom loved to rap!!!
