Ashley Tisdale just released her new single “It’s Alright, It’s OK!” off of her new album Guilty Pleasure. The track premiered live this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. The song was co-written by A.Tis and Swedish production team Twin.
The great thing is that song premieres just when A.Tis has dumped her boyfriend of two years, Jared Murillo to date her music video producer Scott Speer – and guess what “It’s Alright, It’s OK!” is about? That’s right, BREAKUPS! The song talks about being single and in control of your life…well, A.Tis isn’t single, but we LOVE the song.
About the new song A.Tis says, “I love break-up songs. Everyone can relate to those moments when you need to vent your frustration about a previous relationship. ‘It’s Alright, It’s OK’ is about how you need to stand up for yourself and not let someone walk all over you; it’s a message I wanted to get across to other girls.”
The video for the new single airs on A.Tis’ myspace on April 21st. Oh yea, and did we mention that the video was directed by A.Tis’ new boyfriend Scott. Funny how these things work huh?
A.Tis’ new album Guilty Pleasure comes to stores on June 16th so get excited!
