While it does not debut until May 2nd, the JB’s are wasting no time talking to everyone they can about their upcoming television show J.O.N.A.S.
In a recent interview Kevin, Joe and Nick said that they were exciting that they didn’t have to film the Disney Channel Original Series in front of a live audience. Joe said, “It’s nice for us. We don’t have to worry that every take will be messed up. We appreciate we can focus on the acting side of things.”
In February, when the JoBro’s started filming, Joe had said, “If there’s a live audience there, there’s a little more pressure to have your lines down, ’cause it’s a little different, and it’s filmed as if you filmed a Broadway show almost. [With our show,] if you mess up, you can go, ‘OK, let’s do it again.’ You can have, like, 72 takes, and you’re good.”
The Jonas Brothers play characters similar to themselves on J.O.N.A.S. Rather than the Jonas Brothers, they play the Lucas Brothers, however they are still part of a band called “Jonas.” Although, the brothers on the TV show go to high school.
