While the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana gets tons of media attention because of the star of the show Miley Cyrus, Nickelodeon’s show iCarly, staring Miranda Cosgrove, gets a higher number of younger viewers.

Hannah Montana!!! But that’s probably just because I’m old. Lol. I personally think that Disney and Nickolodeon are in completely different catorgories! The only thing that Nick has going for them is iCarly, the KeKe Palmer show, and a bunch of cartoons. Disney has WAYYY more. There in different categories people! Disney kid for life!!! But that’s just my opinion. Nothing against Nick. It’s cool and I LOVED it back in the day with “All that” and “Kenan and Kel,” “Rugrats,” and such but now it’s just no competition.

I’m a big fan of iCarly – Miranda Cosgrove carries off the show well. She’s personable and funny and hits all the right notes, without being irritating. Sometimes I feel as though Hannah Montana relies on recycled storylines (either from its own past seasons or from other Disney shows)…I know I’ve seen a few of the same plots on Disney’s older shows (Lizzie McGuire anyone)? Also, this has nothing to do with either show in terms of quality, but I’m sick of kids’ shows/movies so completely focused on fame in the form of singers/dancers. I like that yeah, Carly is somewhat of a kid celeb in the fact that she has a web show, but there’s rarely a side storyline running through the series of how her dream is to be a singer and be famous and all that. Yeah, Miranda sings, but it’s not all about that.

I do like iCarly and I do like the Disney Channel. I have lost interest in Disney’s shows latley. Remember though, before Lizzie McGuire (sorry for the spelling errors)both of these channels only played animated shows. Disney changed young person’s shows when they created Lizzie McGuire (sorry again for spelling), so Nickolodeon should thank them.
Uh iCarly for life. DUH! (btw, I’m 20 years old.) Hannah Montana ain’t got CHIZ on iCarly. Miley( which isn’t even her real name…) only had this chance because her dad was a one hit wonder. and Now look… if you haven’t noticed she’s fading now. GONE not even mentioned this year at the 2010 VMAs. THANK GOD. Also, if you or your kids have any taste at all you would watch iCarly. Unless you want your daughter to be some skunkbag then let her watch hannah montana and have your kids take all your money because they just HAVE to HAVE the Miley and Hannah versions of some dumb*** toy. That’s why she’s going to be gone. I for one am tired of looking at her TWO FACES. That whole concept should be clear enough for you to understand. Right? iCarly for life. Because at least they do kids things and don’t go chasing boys EVERY episode!!!!
But have you noticed that Hannah Montana and Icarly are always competing against each other? Every Time when icarly has a celeb guest star hannah montana gets them too. For example. David archeta. When icarly got him, so did hannah montana. Also that blonde guy from zoey 101 who played zoeys boyfriend james. When icarly got him so did hannah montana. Also that bad boy, jesse, when icarly got him as a boyfriend so did miley on Hannah montana. Seems to me that hannah monatana keeps copying icarly, just so they can beat them ate their own game. In my opinion, icarly is better because Dan schiender is an AWESOME producer, he doesn’t make his shows that childish and they’re funny
