There is a rumor floating around that Disney’s Vanessa Hudgen’s will be working with former Disney Star Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay who has just gone through a tough breakup to GF Samantha Ronson is out on the town looking for work, and well, Vanessa sounds like she just wants to add more roles to her already hectic schedule.
The rumor is that Vanessa and Lindsay will work together to play the duo Cagney and Lacey from the old cult cop television show from the 1970s. The show would be filmed in New York City, so it would mean a move for both lovely ladies.
We’re not sure if we believe this part or not, but it sounds like the show would also include singing and dancing…which just seems a bit weird to us.
Oh yes, and did we mention Zac Efron might join the cast? The show execs hope to cast the Zefron as Vanessa Hudgens’ husband, named Harvey, on the show. I mean, Zac would have to make the move to NCY too if Vanessa did…so he’d be there anyway.
The original television show starred Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas will be hosting the Teen Choice 2009 Awards Show airing Monday, August 10 on the Fox TV Channel. Oh yea, and the JB’s will be PERFORMING too!
This year marks the 11th annual awards show that names the year’s hottest teen icons in movies, tv shows, music, fashion and sports. Each winner receives a Teen Choice Award Surfboard – how fun!
The JoBro’s will also be hosting the MuchMusic awards in Canada this June.
It looks like Nick, Joe and Kevin are staying super busy this summer! Two hosting gigs and don’t forget their World Tour and release of their fourth album Lines, Vines and Trying Times on June 15!
The Teen Choice awards are produced by Michael Burg, Bob Bain (who produces the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards), Greg Sills, Kelly Brock and Paul Flattery.

Ever since Zac Efron dropped out of the remake of the movie Footloose there have been issues. The first was, well, was anyone really going to watch it without Zac in it? We thought this might be the case until it was rumored that Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was interested in the role. But now it looks like there might be a problem with that too.
Chace has a lot of commitments to the Gossip Girl TV show, including having to be on set all week long for filming, and the schedule for the shooting time of Gossip Girl overlaps with the time he’d need to spend on the set of Footloose. And it doesn’t look like either side is budging to compromise.
A source has recently stated about the dilemma “There’s a big overlap of when he’d have to shoot ‘Footloose’ and the next season of ‘Gossip Girl.’ Chace may be hiring a big-league attorney to come in and figure out how to make it work.”
They better figure all this dramz out soon, the movie already isn’t coming out until 2010 and if Chace is in it we hate waiting that long as it is!!!!
