In the episode, Miley has promised to go to the prom with someone from school who has a crush on her, but then David calls asking to perform a duet with her! David is only in town for one night and Miley has to make a choice – whether to be Miley for the boy at school or Hannah for David.
She chooses to ditch on her plans for prom and spend time in the recording studio with David…that is, until halfway through the song when she realizes her mistake and ditches David for a beautiful dress and a corsage.
We are sure they will release the duet to iTunes, we really like what we’ve heard so far!

Miss Miley has told the media that her and her ex are just “best friends.” And that they “Aren’t back together. I don’t think people know how to make an ex-boyfriend into a best friend and it seems impossible. But when you have known each other as long as we have – we did have such a great relationship. Even he has said, ‘We don’t know what will happen in the future but for right now, we know we are best friends.’”
