Disney knows that Miley Cyrus isn’t going to last much longer in her role on the hit Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana, and they are doing everything in their power to keep their target demographic watching the television channel and not find other shows to watch elsewhere.
The hit Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place was just renewed for a third season. The show stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin. In its first two seasons, Wizards became the second highest rated show for the demographic of kids 9 to 14-years-old. So even if Hannah Montana never makes it past the fourth season, Disney has Wizards of Waverly Place to fall back on.
Although it hasn’t reached the stardom of Hannah or the High School Musical franchise, Wizards of Waverly Place is expected to take off soon, especially with the upcoming release of Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie.
Disney is also working to boost the ratings of two new series, Sonny With A Chance, and J.O.N.A.S. starring Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers respectively.

In My Opinion Nothing Can Beat Hannah Montana, I Do Love The Other Disney Programs But Hannah Is Just The Best!!
I think the J.O.N.A.S show will eventually become somewhat as popular as Hannah Montana,because i mean it’s the jonas brothers!.They will promote this show, as much as they always do with anything they’re involved with.It always seems to become about miley and the jonas’s.
As far as Wiz.W.Place,i don’t think they’ll be as big as H.Montana,but will probably gain more fans as the show grows and of course with the movie coming out.(To be honest,i think it’s weird that they are doing a W.W.P movie.It’s obvious they are trying to promote the show.)I still love it though!!
I think the Jonas show will have great success. I personally think it looks stupid but then again, I’m not a fan of theirs. They do have a ton of crazy, rabid fans, and some more sane ones.
So I think their show will turn out to be very popular.
Wizards may not reach the heights of popularity that Hannah Montana did, but I actually think Wizards is much more well done and funnier than Hannah Montana. And personally, I find Selena more likeable.

I think wizards of waverly place is going to be MORE popular. I don’t know why i mean, suite life is pretty popular too! I think both suite life and wizards are going to be because obvioulsy hannah montana is not worth it to miley, why should it be worth it to all these little kids who love her! So, if she doesn’t wanna put the time and effort into it because she just wants to make more money then, she’s letting down A LOT of little kids so, i don’t know. & in my opinion, that’s most definitaly not how Selena Gomez, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Demi Lovato OR the Jonas Brothers feel. So, yeah. Haha, that’s just my opinion..

Hannah Montana is a hit WORLDWIDE while Wizards ARE huge in America but I’m not so sure bout other countries..Jonas are sucess and they are gonna keep runin but non of the Disney shows is gonna pass 4th season bcz thats jst the way Disney works..And none of them are ever gonna be as big as HM cuz HM was first and it’s always gonna stay Disney’s bigest hit..:)
Uhm yeah, this is a very informational website. But we have no idea what show is going to take off first. It’s all a matter of who will watch the show, and who likes the shows much more better(: I don’t really love the jonas brothers, or sonny with a chance. Both shows are dumb(: no offense but sonny with a chance is the most dumbest thing ever. But I love Wizards of Waverly Place&Hannah Montana. We all know that Hannah Montana wont last any longer. Hannah Montana is the best show =] Wizards seems like a ripoff of Hannah (a girl with a big secret..) and Harry Potter (she’s a witch etc). Nothing can compare to Hannah Monatana, especially because Miley is so obviously more talented than Selena. Miley is the funniest actress who isn’t afraid of looking like a fool and goofing around, she has an amazing voice and is a great songwriter, whereas Selena is very pretty, but by no means funny of talented, especially at “singing”. Miley is the TEENQUEEN and she is already on her way to bigger productions, out of the childstar stuff, so Disney tries to replace her.. Listening to “Tell me something I don’t know” and “Falling Down” proves that she has no singing talent whatsoever and stands no chances against Miley’s self-written songs such as “The Climb”.

acually i think wizards of waver place will beat hannah montanna. they ays beat hannah at wards just like this year(2009) at the emmys…and other awards.. so i think selena is a better actor she makes her charachter really sound lazy even though thats not like her.. the movie was awesome too…better than hannah montanna the movie in my opinion! go selena gomez and the rest of the cast..go wizards of waverly place!!

Wizards of Waverly Place totally rocks. It’s starting to take off big time and Selena is definitely making a huge name for herself. She’s a great actress and singer. At least Selena cares what the fans think about her and doesn’t go flaunting herself in public the way that Miley does. And also Selena is way prettier. Miley was pretty, but she is starting to let herself go big time. Sorry Miley, but you are going to lose your fan base to Selena, because parents want their kids to watch someone respectable and that’s definitely not you. So move over Miley, Selena is moving up.

), I bet you whatever that Sonny With a Chance will be the most popular and sucessful Disney show. Honestly, I think that The Suite Life on Deck isn’t that popular or sucessful or good. So far, none of them Disney ‘spin-offs’ have been as sucessful or popular as the origanal show. Like Cory in the House wasn’t as popular or sucessful as That’s So Raven, which was really, really good. And The Suite Life on Deck isn’t or NEVER WILL BE as sucessful or popular or funny/good as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. They got rid of all the good characters in both of them. In Cory in the House they got rid of Raven, Chealsa and Eddie, and them three where the best characters in the show, and they replaced them with Newt, Meena and Sophie. Newts’…awesome, he’s a little like Chealsa, but the other two are no good. Sophies’ alright, though, but not great. And in The Suite Life on Deck they got rid of Maddie and Nia and…just about everyone else. I mean, sure most of the characters I’m talking about where recurring, and sure Nia only goined the cast in about the third season, but they where all way better. They replaced them with Bailey, Woody and Marcus in the second season. Woody’s awesome, and he shouldn’t justbe a recurring character, and I haven’t seen any of the episodes that Marcus is in, and I hate Bailey, for some reason. All I know is that I hate her. I also hate Hannah Montana.
I bet you Sonny will be very, very, very sucessful, closley followed by Wizards

Wizards of Waverly Place is definately the best programme here. They have the best actors and the best story lines. I mean how many episodes can you run about leading a double life?? Hannah Montana is getting old.

umm ok thts so raven is and always be disneys biggest hit it has had the most veiwers. hannah montana never really gained momentum through out the seriese suit life on deck or the suit life seriese has ben ranked #2 on disneys biggest hits list wizards will replace hannah but wizards is almost done. sonny with a chance is a mid card. and good luck charlie will sore to #2 and suite life will stay #1 hannah and wizards battled ovr the past years ovr spots 2 or 3 with wizards peaking at number 1 in mid 2008 and hannah peaking at #2 but thats so raven will always be the best! EVER!

Wizards is the best show on Disney. U kno youre the best when u win an emmy 2 consecutive years in a row. I mean Hannah did get some ratings up 4 Disney but tht was mainly for the 2006-2008 year. 2009 nd 2010 was focusing on the rise of Wizards. Once hannahs over, Wizards will take the top spot with their last season and FINAL MOVIE which i kno everyone will watch. Once Season 4 of Wizards take off, nobody will stand in Selena, DAvid or JAke’s way. Remember Thts So Raven paved the way 4 live comedy shows and will always be the best. But, we’re talking about a show tht isnt all about laughs. Wizards actually follow a story line and their style of comedy isnt like past shows such as Suite Life HM and Raven. Their comedy style is very different and sarcastic more of such iCarly’s. Once Wizards end…Sonny will take the lead. Giving Demi time 2 carry Disney Channel. As they finish Good Luck Charlie will dominate giving ppl time 2 grow and love Mia Talerico and Bridget Mendler. Disney knows how to promote their shows very well.
