Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year has a chance at winning Best Picture at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31st. The movie is up against the popular movies Twilight, The Dark Knight, and Slumdog Millionaire.
High School Musical star Zac Efron is up against some other hotties for Best Male Performance, competing against Shia LaBeouf, Robert Downey Jr., Christian Bale and Vin Diesel.
And Zac Efron’s co-stars are getting some great nominations as well! Looks like there’s going to be a cat fight over Breakthrough Performance for a Female Artist at the awards ceremony as Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale AND Vanessa Hudgens have all been nominated alongside Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto. Oh yea, and Zac and Vanessa are nominated for best kiss!
Miley Cyrus is also nominated for Best Song From A Movie for her son “The Climb.”
