For its premiere, the Jonas Brothers new Disney Channel Original Series J.O.N.A.S. beat out other Saturday TV shows, which includes Nickelodeon shows like the Fairly Odd Parents, but the number of viewers came nowhere near the amount of people who tune in to watch a new episode of Hannah Montana. The J.O.N.A.S. premiere was the Disney Channel’s lowest rated live-action television series opening among a demographic of kids 6-years-old to 11-years-old since the 2005 series Life With Derek.
Are Jonas Brothers just not big enough to be part of the Disney empire? As far as Jonas Brothers Movies vs. Hannah Montana Movies, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience didn’t even cross the $20 million mark at the box office whereas Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour raked in $65 million and Hannah Montana: The Movie has already grossed $70 million in theaters.
Disney is trying to make everything sound not that bad in the media by stating that J.O.N.A.S. was the Disney Channel’s first-ever Saturday premiere for a Disney Channel Original Series.

Aww. I’m sorry Jo-Bro’s. I wish you guys much sucess. I didn’t get to tune in either however because I was busy. Wow. I guess the Jonas Brothers aren’t as popular as I thought. Wow. I don’t know what to say…I’m sorry Jonas’s. Just know that people absolutely LOVE your music!! They probably didn’t see the 3D concert because 1) we are in an economic depression and people don’t have as much money as they did b4! or 2) They feel as if they wasted their money on the Hannah Montana 3D movie and didn’t want to take their chances with the Jonas’s. I think these are two very possible and valid movies. Again, sorry brothers. You’ll get em’ next time!!
I Think People Who Love Them Don’t Like Disney They Just Love Them For Who They Are( Mann That’s Sounds Cheesy!) Lol
It’s because the Jonas Brothers overact everything, have terrible comedic timing, and frankly, just not as good as Miley Cyrus when it comes to acting. Plus, the plot line is BOOOOOOOOOORING.
