The Candies Foundation Against Teen Pregnancy has recruited celebrities including Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Bristol Palin, Usher and Beyonce to join the fight against unplanned teen pregnancy.
Bristol Palin was named the ambassador of National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (today).
The Candies Foundation is the same company that brings us our favorite Candies clothing and shoes. The mission of the company is to educate youth about the consequences that come with teen pregnancy by using celebrities spokespeople in their public service announcements, events and projects.
A number of catchy slogans have been created by the company, which they will be using in their advertising. Some of these slogans will also be printed onto t-shirts that the company will be selling in the near future. These slogans include:
- “Not Really The Way You Pictured Your First Crib”
- “You Think Being in School Sucks
- “Be Sexy: It Doesn’t Mean You Have to Have Sex”
- “I’m Sexy Enough…To Keep You Waiting”
We’re just wondering why they didn’t choose Miley Cyrus as a spokesperson since she has recently told the media that she is going to abstain from sex until she is married.
