We recently reported that we aren’t sure if Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are still BFFs and now we’re wondering if Selena’s decision to date Twilight star Taylor Lautner had something to do with it. In a recent interview Demi says that Taylor is one of her “really good friends,” and that he is “so adorable.” Well, hands off Demi, because Selena’s the one with him!
We’re wondering if maybe Demi had some not so nice things to say about Selena’s choice in men before-hand. The two former BFFs have not spoken publicly on Twitter in quite some time – something they used to always do. Perhaps Demi is backtracking on whatever she said and now making public statements about how much she loves Twilight, and of course Taylor.
Demi continued in the interview that “It’d be cool, of course, to play a character in the Twilight series or whatever. That’s be a dream. That’d be really cool.” We’re not so sure she sounds convinced!
Demi also says, “Edward Cullen … oh, my gosh! I’m sorry, Bella, but I would have to steal him away from you! Or he’d have to have a son that would grow fast or something that I would eventually date.”
What do you think about all of this BFF drama between Demi and Selena?
You guys are reading too much into this. There’s nothing going on between them, Demi and Selena are still friends, and hello, nearly 90% of all girls in america are obsessed with Twilight. I’d say the negative backlash against selena isn’t coming from demi – it’s coming from all those girls!
This is ridiculous. Just because Demi and Selena don’t talk to each other on Twitter, for the ENTIRE PUBLIC to see, doesn’t mean they don’t talk. They have said repeatedly in interviews that they talk on the phone and text each other constantly. Not talking to each other on Twitter means absolutely nothing. I sure as heck wouldn’t want to interact with my loved ones where the entire world could see and judge.

But anyway I think they arnt close friends because paparazz were following demi and the specifcally asked her where’s selena are you guys still friends and she said I don’t know ask selena so that could mean anything. And at demis 17th birthday party selena wasn’t there I’m sure they would have showed her and why wasn’t selena I’m demis remember December video? So those are the kinds of things I’m wondering. And I think demi is letting fame get to her but shell wake up soon enough but when she does her fans may be gone.

Hi demi here and my and selena are still very close just we are very bust and don’t have much time to hang out any more ! I wish Selena all the best in the future with whatever she chooses to do and I will support her all the way !
