Disney brought together some of its most popular celebrities to record a song titled Send It On for their “Disney’s Friends For Change: Planet Green” campaign. Here is a 35 second sneak peek. From what we can hear, first off the song sounds very familiar so we’re wondering if they took the melody from another song we’ve all heard before. Second, is it just us, or is the only voice you can actually pick out Miley Cyrus’? It sounds like they made her voice louder than anyone else. But, the song sounds like it will be catchy and we’re glad Disney is trying to do good and having its popular celebrities help out!
The Jonas Brothers have their fingers crossed about getting the chance to rent a very expensive home for the summer. Nick, Joe and Kevin have their eyes on a $50 million summer home in New York’s Hamptons resort. The home includes a skateboard ramp, two-lane bowling alley, virtual golf course, a rock-climbing wall, a recording studio, an electric-train room, a spa and a performing stage which comes with a fog machine.
Oh, and did we mention that on top of all of that amazing stuff, the summer home they are looking to rent even comes with a convertible Bentley or Ferrari! It’s estimated that the JBs will be shelling out $1.5 million to rent the home for just a couple of months.
At the MTV Movie Awards on May 31st at 9 PM, Zac Efron will be presenting Ben Stiller with the MTV’s Generation Award. Ben has worked as an actor, director, writer and producer in Hollywood. The president of the MTV Network, Van Toffler, said that Ben is being honored because of his “versatility and talent” in the industry, stating, “Ben is a comedic chameleon, able to make the leap between drama and full-out comedy while maintaining his own unique brand of subversive humor. Whether it’s fighting a monkey in a museum or licking a decapitated head, nothing is ever off-limits for him and that’s the type of warped creative vision and commitment MTV loves to reward.”
Ben, who already knows that he is being recognized has stated, “I am honored to be getting the ‘Generation Award. I was given my first show at MTV, and also canceled for the first time.”
While Taylor Swift is just 19-years-old and can’t get the full effect of Las Vegas because she is not of legal age to do so, she is still looking forward to having a great weekend not cooped up inside of her hotel room getting ready for her show today at Mandalay Bay. Taylor says, “I can definitely enjoy it anyway. There’s just so much going on that you can look at … The hotels themselves are just so much fun to wonder around and the shopping is amazing. I’m kind of restricted from 95 percent of Las Vegas, but I love being in Vegas. Everything I do is monitored now. (So) I’ve definitely not been gambling or doing anything that usually people talk about doing in Vegas.”
