As we previously mentioned, the Jonas Brothers were contemplating canceling their shows in Mexico for the time being due to the Swine Flu (H1N1) virus. As of this week Nick, Joe and Kevin have made it official that they will not be appearing on the scheduled date in Mexico (May 17). Instead, the JBs will be heading to Mexico on July 31st to make up for their cancellation.
The decision to cancel the shows this month were in order to avoid giving “parents and families any concern over their children attending the concerts.”
Representatives for the JoBros released the following statement, “The Jonas Brothers want to thank all their fans in Mexico for their support and dedication. However, due to health concerns around the country resulting from the outbreak of the H1N1 flu, their 2 concerts in Monterrey, Mexico on May 17 have been postponed to July 31, 2009. All tickets purchased for May 17 will be honored on this new date. There will still be both afternoon and evening shows on this new date. Any fans unable to attend the rescheduled shows may receive refunds at the Arena Box Office beginning next Wednesday, May 13.”
This stinks, but at least the shows aren’t canceled for good though right!

Disney star Vanessa Hudgens is among the celebrities who are slated to present an award at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31. The awards ceremony is hosted by Andy Samberg with musical guest Eminem. The show begins at 9 PM with the red carpet beginning a couple hours earlier.
Other stars presenting awards alongside Vanessa include Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds, Leighton Meester, Jonah Hill, Denzel Washington and Lil Wayne.
The event will be held at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Universal City California. Numerous Disney stars are up for awards including Vanessa so cross your fingers and wish them good luck!
This sounds super creepy to us, but rumor has it that Disney’s Brenda Song is dating singer Flo Rida. Brenda was born in 1988, recently celebrating her 21st birthday, while Flo was born in 1979 making him 30-years-old.
At the Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles this last weekend, Brenda was seen backstage supporting her man as he performed and then caught leaving with him with her hand latched onto his belt buckle – yikes!

This week Miley Cyrus and her mom, Tish Cyrus, came out to support the fight against breast cancer. The two attended Revlon’s Walk / Run For Women event. Above is a pep talk given by Miley about the organization and the event itself. Both women look awesome – don’t you think?
