Vanessa Hudgens talks about her her first kiss when she was 15 years old saying, “My first real kiss was, I was 15. Just bad, just bad news. Not good. You don’t know what’s going on, and it’s so awkward, and (yech) just horrible.”
Before that first kiss, Vanessa had an almost-been-kissed moment when she was in fifth grade. She says about the experience, “My first almost kiss was bizarre. It was in fifth grade and it was a dare. They dared me to make out with my … I called him my boyfriend at the time … and they wanted us to make out and I was deathly afraid. I was wearing a retainer and they’re like, “You should take your retainer out,” Actually I chickened out … I never did it. I guess I’m not one for peer pressure.”
This whole topic came up because everyone has been talking about Vanessa’s kiss in her upcoming movie Bandslam with her co-star Gaelan Connell. She says about how awkward that kiss was that: “As comfortable as I think I can be. It’s such a weird thing because everyone is staring at you and it’s just awkward … but hey, it’s OK. It’s for the love of our movie. He’s [Gaelan] a good kisser,” she says with a smile. “I think we were both actually eating peanut butter before we had to kiss.”
A new episode of the Jonas Brothers Disney Channel Original Series J.O.N.A.S. airs tonight at 8PM. In the episode the JB’s accidentally destroy their family’s home movies, which really upsets the boys mom. Nick, Joe and Kevin have to enlist the help of a friend to recreate scenes from the home videos and re-record them. During the episode we will be able to watch some of the actual home-videos from the Jonas Brothers’ collection. Who’s watching?
Composer and music maker Jon Schmmidt has a 7-year-old who is addicted to Taylor Swift (aren’t we all!). As a special gift to his daughter, Jon decided to take his daughters love for Taylor’s “Love Song” and his enjoyment of “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay and mesh them together.
What do you think? We really like it!
