Yikes, it looks like Miss Miley Cyrus really upset some of the top executives at the Disney Channel because they are definitely not paying her what she is usually worth! Miley makes a lot more than most of us for a normal week of work, except one week that is coming up in June where she will only be making $5,000 for her guest appearance on the Disney Channel Original Series “The Suite Life on Deck.”
It is speculated that Disney is still upset about Miley and her dad trying to quit “Hannah Montana,” and are making her pay the price now, but asking her to work extra hours on cameo appearances for their other Disney Channel shows. We wonder how much longer Miley will last with Disney is they keep paying her far less than what’s she’s used to…what are your thoughts?
The Jonas Brothers are EVERYWHERE lately! They are performing at sold out concerts on their World Tour, Coming onto DVD with Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, acting on television in the Disney Channel Original Series J.O.N.A.S., and now you can find the Jonas Brothers on your Nintendo DS system!
Disney is releasing an interactive Nintendo DS game in which fans can act along with Nick, Joe and Kevin in a game similar to their television series J.O.N.A.S. Players of the game will have to help the JoBros juggle their everyday lives, from school to concerts, friends and fans, while trying to stay normal teens and young-adults.
The Senior Vice President of Disney Interactive Studios, Craig Relyea, said that, “JONAS is the perfect complement to the hit television show, giving fans additional access to the Jonas Brothers as they portray the Lucas Brothers─their music, their fashion and their lives. The game delivers a unique blend of adventure, humor and music that will keep fans of the Jonas Brothers entertained and engaged this holiday season.”
Not only are Nick, Joe and Kevin in the video game, but so are the characters Macy and Stella from the J.O.N.A.S. television series. The players can visit the Jonas Brothers school, firehouse and other familiar locations from the Disney Channel show as well as customize the JB’s wardrobe – how fun!
By purchasing the video game, players will also gain access to DGamer, which is an online community exclusively for Disney gamers on the Nintendo DS system. In the community players can interact with other players through chat and can unlock additional items in their games.
Look for the J.O.N.A.S. game for Nintendo DS this fall!
Disney/Pixar’s movie UP hit theaters at midnight last night across the country. Disney/Pixar’s UP is the 10th animated film to come from the combined studio, but the first to be shown in Digital 3D. It has been said that UP is the best movie released from the two companies and that audiences don’t stop laughing for a minute – we sure hope this is true! We’re going to check it out tomorrow!

The style from the 1980s is coming back and our favorite Disney Celebrities are making this trend happen. In the early to mid 1980s large glasses with multi-colored plastic frames were all the rave for both men and women. This look was made popular by the famous designer-glasses company Ray-Ban and were worn by numerous celebrities at the time.

Today these glasses are coming back through celebrities like the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Ashley Tisdale. Joe Jonas first displayed these glasses at an awards ceremony last year where he stood and posed with Nick and Kevin Jonas and Vanessa Hudgens.
Joe has been sporting these glasses at various times throughout the year, but if you’ve been paying attention you’ll notice that his color choice is becoming more bold. The first pair Joe sported were white, and then he’s been seen in black and blue but more recently the multi-color glasses are making appearances on both him and Ashley Tisdale.
At first these glasses seemed a bit obnoxious, but it has become clear that these Disney stars have begun a trend that will follow us all summer long.
