David Arculeta took time out of his super busy on-tour schedule to update us all through a really long and detailed blog post. We are so excited! We love hearing about what David is up to and this is so much information we’re having trouble handling it all!!!
Oh and PS, we think its HYSTERICAL that Archie watches the show “Yo Gabba Gabba” … just saying.
Check out David’s latest blog post below.
Hello everyone. Just updating on how things have been. I’m watching kid shows with my little cousins right now haha. They’re quite interesting… lol. They get really random. Right now Yo Gabba Gabba! is on. We were watching Maggie and the Beast, and they just randomly walked by these sheep sitting on a cloud. anyway, I think you’d have to actually watch it to see what I mean. Otherwise it’s not funny I guess. It was to me though. well… it wasn’t funny to my little infant cousins haha. Ok I’m done.
So we had shows in Boston and Philly, and they were sooo much fun! Philly was an amphitheater show, and I think the sun really makes people happier. At least when it’s not beating down on you at 110 degrees. But the crowd was so cheerful and energetic, and it was just a lot of fun. Woah… Sean Kingston is in Yo Gabba Gabba teaching a dance. That’s crazy. I like Sean Kingston. Wow I’m feeling really spacey today. But you guys have to watch this show if you’re bored it’s really interesting. Oh Sean Kingston just disappeared.. This is so weird!
We had our Georgia show yesterday. I had a day off Sunday, and also have a day off today! I have family here so I’m getting to spend time with them! It’s great hangin’ with the fam. My brother’s here too, but right now he’s sleeping. So I’m just hangin’ with the cousins right now. One of Demi’s guitarists, Mike, had a family reunion in Georgia so I met a bunch of his family last night at the show too. Anyway, I probably shouldn’t be writing a blog right now because I cannot focus whatsoever. You can’t blame me though because there’s a lot going on around here. But at least I’ll leave it short! Did you guys buy Regina Spektor’s album? Because I love it.
Well I best be off now to spend time with the family. But before I go I just wanted to mention how valuable I find writing in a journal is. Last year I didn’t really keep a journal, and I thought it took too much time out of my day. I’d do it every now and then over the last few years, but I’d get unmotivated and stop writing. I made it my New Year’s Resolution to write at least once a week in it though, and at first I thought there’s no way I’m going to keep this going lol. But surprisingly, I ‘ve been doing really well with it and I’m so glad that I have. It really helps you sort your thoughts out, and also gets your mind kicking into gear. One of my favorite things is going back to a page and reading what was going on through my mind 6 months or 2 years ago. It’s a really neat thing to do actually. Especially the entries that were before I knew what all was going to happen with music in my life. Think of how cool it’d be for your grandkids and great-grandkids to read about your adventures and what you were like too. You may think, “Oh my life’s not interesting enough to waste my time writing about it in a journal.” But hey, you should go for it anyway and you might surprise yourself how cool it will be reading back sometime in the future. So I’d like to challenge all of you to get a journal and start writing in it tonight! Let me know how you do, ok? If you don’t have a journal, then go out and by one this week. I’m really serious about it, and I’m a true believer in how much a journal is worth. Once you start writing in it, it really becomes priceless possession. Well I’ve gone off long enough about that, but really let me know how you guys do and keep it up! It’ll be sooo worth it in the long-run, even for whoever ends up with it later on. But with that, I leave and say until next time!
Song for the day: Why Georgia – John Mayer
P.S. Thanks everyone for the notes you’ve been sending on the charities you’ve been getting involved with! It’s been really neat to see what foundations you’ve been helping out, and I think it’s awesome! I love to see it!
Alright, now this is just speculation, but we think there’s a good chance that there might be a Princess Protection Program 2! And here’s why…
Not only did the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program get 8.5 million viewers last weekend, it also made the Disney Channel the number one channel for prime time viewers on Friday, taking the spot from NBC. Disney Channel won over NBC by almost 1 million viewers! Also, the top scripted cable program for this year had been the premiere of the new season of TNT’s “The Closer,” which had 7.1 million viewers watch it – but it looks like PPP beat that too!
But here’s where we think Disney will decide to make a Princess Protection Program sequel – PPP drew in the third highest audience that Disney has ever gotten with one of its Disney Channel Original Movies. Right behind High School Musical 2 and Camp Rock. Both of which have gotten the sequel treatment!
What do you think? Will there be a Princess Protection Program 2 in the works? We sure think so!

The much anticipated Disney Channel show cross-over event called “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana,” airs on the Disney Channel on July 17 at 8PM, but we have a special surprise for you! Check out the video above to see bloopers from when all of your favorite Disney Channel stars from “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life On Deck,” and “Hannah Montana” teamed up for this special series!
From Miley Cyrus to Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, Emily Osment, David Henrie, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, and Selena Gomez, these bloopers show the entire cast making fools of themselves so that we can all enjoy an amazing show on the 17th.
We wonder if this show is a huge hit if Disney will do this more often. Currently, this is only the second time the Disney Channel has ever done this type of promotion for its shows, but we hope that it happens every summer from now on because it looks like so much fun!
Read about all of the “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana” episodes here and let us know which ones you are looking most forward to tuning into!
A critically sick little girl, Jessica Walker, in Seattle was able to get her wish thanks to an anonymous donor and the Jonas Brothers. Jessica has been in a hospital for the last five months battling with a brain tumor. She has had a tremendous amount of operations and she can no longer speak or move. But little Jessica never lost hope and she got to do something so special even her family couldn’t have imagined it would actually happen.
Jessica was able to be transported to the Jonas Brothers concert on Sunday where her family said that by looking at her eyes they could tell how happy the experience made her. Jessica’s mom said, “Seeing her smile and her eyes just going huge it’s like we’re getting a piece of our Jessica back. We really didn’t know and think Jessica would ever be able to anything like this – go to the concert this is huge. “She wants the Jonas Brothers to see her for who she is, so she’s not wearing a wig.”
And it didn’t just stop there. Jessica even got the meet Nick, Joe and Kevin in person. We love hearing heartwarming stories like this one, we wish Jessica the best of luck!
Zac Efron was spotted this past weekend getting some lessons on how to sail at sea. Zac is currently preparing for his next role “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud,” in which he falls in love with a sailor (so of course he’d have to know what he was doing in a boat!).
We wonder how everything is going with his relationship with High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens. We know she is currently in Canada filming her movie “Beastly,” but they haven’t been spotted togther much, and we all know they have enough money to be taking a plane to visit each other whenever they want!
What do you think? Is their relationship on the rocks or are they still going strong?
