It seems tht no matter who Miley Cyrus is dating her daddy Billy Ray Cyrus has to claim that he found them and got them started as an artist. First it was with Justin Gaston who Billy Ray said he found on a music contest show and who he was trying to promote and help get a record deal for the 9-months he dated his daughter, and now it’s the Jonas Brothers. Really now?

In this new interview with Larry King, Billy Ray claims that he is the one who brought a Jonas Brothers CD with him to the Walt Disney Records meeting he had. So, rather than talking about his own record deal that wasn’t even in the works yet, he was promoting Nick, Joe and Kevin instead? It doesn’t seem super likely!

Oh yea, and remember how much daddy Ray always said how much he loved Justin and thought he was just a great guy, well now he loves Nick just as much. At least he knows how to keep the media spotlight on him – always say you like the guy your daughter will end up dating!
