This month Selena Gomez was interviewed by Parade Magazine. She talked to the magazine about romance, work and being a role model for her fans. She said, “I think that it’s part of the job where you turn into a role model. It’s not something I aimed toward. But now that it’s kind of a title, I do embrace it, because it’s very sweet to have little girls have posters and T-shirts of you.”
As far as her romantic life goes Selena said, “I love talking about boys. I used to worry about it, but I decided that it’s wrong not to go out to eat with friends or to the movies, because people might see me. It’s exhausting to shield yourself all the time. Still, it seems that boyfriends are all people care about when they write about me.”
Oh yea, and Selena wants everyone to be very clear that she is not stuck up or spoiled! She said, “It irritates me when people think I live such a special life and that I’m spoiled. I’m an only child, but my grandmother babysat 13 kids at once, so I grew up with a bunch of kids around me. I had lunch at Subway today. My favorite food is fried pickles at Hooters.”

Miley Cyrus surprised fans at the Jonas Brothers concert last night in Dallas, TX at the Cowboys Stadium. Her and Nick Jonas rose from beneath the stage on a rotating platform and performed their hit song “Before The Storm” for the crowd.
The song is about Miley and Nick’s past breakup, but lucky for everyone who loves Miley and Nick they are most likely together again! Do you think they make a super cute couple or are you over them?
The hit Disney XD show “Aaron Stone,” which stars Kelly Blatz, introduced WWE wrestler Chris Jericho to the show that airs tomorrow night.
The episode staring Chris is called “Xero Control.” In the episode Xero, played by Steven Yaffee, captures the most feared fighter in the world, played by Jericho, and Aaron Stone has to rescue him from the capture situation. Sounds exciting!
What did Kelly have to say about working with Chris? “It was great, I had never been a huge wrestling fan, but my friends were, and I remember them saying his name, so when I heard he was coming on I recognized his name. For some reason in the back of your mind subconsciously you think these wrestlers are angry people, but he showed up and he was the nicest guy. He came up with this whole thing for his character which was really funny. We had a great time, and he’s just the nicest guy. We do have some scenes where we fight each other, it’s an interesting way that you’ll see in the episode, he’s such a strong guy, he’s huge, so for me I’m like ‘Just take it easy! I’m not as big as Stone Cold [Steve Austin].’”
The episode will premiere tomorrow night, June 22, at 9PM ET/ PT on Disney’s XD channel. Will you be watching?

10-year-old Colby Curtin was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer in December of 2005, and recently she was getting much sicker. Her family tried to get a wheelchair to bring Colby from her home to a local movie theater to see Disney / Pixar’s movie “UP,” because it was her final wish, but there were no wheelchairs available.
A friends of the family began to call every number they could find for Pixar and after leaving a message on a random employees voicemail Colby and her family were surprised within 24 hours by a Pixar team member and a DVD of the movie “UP.”
Colby and her family got a private screening of the movie and a huge gift basket of toys. Poor Colby had trouble keeping her eyes open through a lot of the film because of the pain she was in so her loving mother narrated the movie to her.
7 hours after her private screening of “UP” Colby left this earth. Rest in peace hunny, we’re glad you got your last wish.

After the red carpet at the premiere of their Disney Channel Original Movie “Princess Protection Program” stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato snuck out of the movie screening to check out a prom! The girls weren’t planning on crashing the prom, but while Selena was walking around Toronto she came across the party and asked the security guard if she could go in for a few minutes. And who would say no to Selena???
Selena ran back to tell Demi and the other girls who went to the premiere of PPP with them and they all headed over to the prom. Demi and Selena surprised the prom-goers and even spent time out on the dance floor with them!
Unfortunately the girls were asked to leave around 11 PM because they were not students of the school holding the prom. But they were still psyched to have been able to spend time at a prom! Selena will also be attending her cousins prom soon, so she has that to look forward to!
