Many people have been questioning why Joe Jonas decided to put his dignity on the line and wear a leotard in the most recent Jonas Brothers video released to fans with himself dancing around to Beyonce’s hit song “Single Ladies.” Well it turns out it wasn’t exactly Joe’s idea!
Joe said, “We filmed the video for the fans. We did a contest where we were figuring out what would you like Joe to do, and you pick one [out of three choices]. One was play bongos for 10 minutes, one was wrestle with [our bodyguard] Big Rob and one was do the ‘Single Ladies’ dance. I’ve only seen [Beyoncé's] video like maybe twice in my life, and we filmed it twice, so … it was cool.”
Although he continued, “Heels are really hard to wear. I feel bad for every girl that has to wear heels or chooses to wear heels. They’re not fun.”
The JoBros are also claiming that there was no issue with their YouTube site going down in terms of not paying for the rights to the Beyonce song. Nick claimed instead, “There was a glitch in the system, for like a couple of hours. But it was all good.” A glitch in the….payment…system? We’re not believing the computers just magically went down, sorry boys!
Even though it sounds like Miss Miley Cyrus is going through a tough breakup right now, and she was busy packing all of last week to head off to her movie shoot in Savannah, Georgia where she will be for two months, she took the time to attend the A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival. The event benefited the Elizabeth Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
At the event Miley got to take the stage and perform her hit song “The Climb.” She seemed really happy to be there and to be sharing a stage that the Jonas Brothers performed on in the past. Maybe because it made her feel closer to her new rumored crush Nick Jonas?
When Nick Jonas was asked what it was like to do the duet with Miley Cyrus he gave a really interesting answer! It turns out the song “Before The Storm” from the JoBros next album “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” was written just for the JoBros at first until Miley heard it. Nick said, “There’s two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally. And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great. So, we did. She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great!”

Ashley Tisdale performed for a pack crowd in Italy as she hit the stage of the country’s TRL show. Ashley performed her hit song “It’s Alright, It’s OK” this afternoon while her fans screamed her name and danced to her music.
Ashley is currently on a promotional tour right now to talk about her upcoming album Guilty Pleasure which hits stores on July 28th.
When asked to pick the best fan-made banner in the crowd A.Tis had to choose between a sign asking for Zac Efron’s number and another with an inspirational message about Ashley herself. Guess which one she chose! The one about her of course! Which would you have chosen?
Taylor Swift was quoted in a recent interview saying she would love to work with Lil Wayne, and it looks like she got something pretty close to her wish! In another interview rapper T-Pain said he wanted to do a country collaboration with the artist Toby Keith – and he too, like Taylor, got something close to his wish!
Taylor Swift and T-Pain have teamed up to do a country/rap collaboration. Is this something you think you’d be into listening to? Taylor recently Tweeted on her Twitter account: “If I said I was in the studio with T-Pain, would you believe me?”
Hopefully they aren’t singing a song together about Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas!
