Demi Lovato performed tonight in Boston, MA at the Agganis Arena. KSM took the stage to open up the night at 7PM and played for about 15 minutes. They played their two hit songs and a few we had never heard. All in all they’re definitely going to make it for a few years with Disney, but unless they are promoted a bit more they might not be around forever it didn’t seem like many of the concert goers (average age 8 – 14) had no idea who they were. They have so much potential and we hope they are around for years, and years, and years! Click here to learn more about the band.
Then after a short break American Idol runner-up David Archuleta made a dramatic entrance and went right into all of his greatest hits we all know and love.
Aside from being in need of a serious haircut and being completely drenched with sweat, David was AMAZING. We immediately came home and purchased his album. We watched him on American Idol, but he is SO much better in real life! If he ever headlines anothing tour by himself it would be a MUST-SEE in our opinion.
UPDATE: Thank you for all of you who informed us that David has in fact headlined his own tour before. We didn’t realize since he is opening for Demi. We figured if he had headlined his own tour he would continue to do so, sorry for the mix up!
UPDATE: David just posted this on Twitter: “I really need a haircut! But where to get a good one while on tour?? hmm..” We told you!
His band was super fun and, while he may not have the most extreme stage presence, his voice makes up for it! He never missed a beat, or forgot the words to his song and he was just fantastic!
After a twenty minute intermission Demi Lovato performed. She opened up pretty strong, but as most of you know she has been complaining on Twitter about losing her voice most of the nights in the last week due to singing so much. Well, yet again, within three songs her voice was done for.
She forgot some lyrics to some of her super new songs (which is totally understandable, we would too!) and she didn’t hit any of the high notes because of her voice (poor Demi!) but she was so fun, and smiled the entire time. She was dressed super cute and her hair looked perfect! After the audience helped her sing her hit song “Don’t Forget” when she completely lost her voice, and had tears in her eyes, she said tonight was her favorite memory of the song. (We wish you all could have been there for that!)

Selena Gomez might not be dating Jonathan Cook from the group Forever The Sickest Kids, but it sure sounds like she wants her good friend Taylor Swift to date him!
Selena recently recorded the song “Whoah Oh” with FTSK and is now rumored to be introducing Taylor and Jonathan through iChat and it sounds like they hit it off great! Jonathan said, “[Swift] is gorgeous. She is an amazing songwriter, and I can relate to her not only as a musician but also as a writer…Plus, she seems so down-to-earth, I always root for her as a fan!”
We hope Jonathan realizes that if he breaks her heart there is going to be a song out there about him ASAP!

Taylor Swift, in conjunction with her “Fearless” concert tour which is currently going on, has teamed up with Best Buy’s @15 charity program. The nonprofit program provides scholarships to teens who otherwise could not attend college. The program began last year.
Best Buy’s CEO, Brian Dunn, had this to say about the partnership, “We’re thrilled that @15 is joining forces with Taylor Swift. At its core, @15 is designed to empower and give teens a voice, and we believe Ms. Swift is one of the brightest, most inspiring teen voices right now.”
We love to hear it when celebrities take their careers and use them for good!

This just in! Demi Lovato has canceled three of her upcoming tour dates this summer. We know for sure that one is her show on August 18 at Van Andel Arena, but make sure to check with your local venue if you have tickets to make sure your show is still on!
Apparently Demi had a scheduling conflict - yikes! We wish they would just let David Archuleta go and perform for the entire concert, but alas if Demi doesn’t go on nobody goes on!
