Along with all the stars who are paying tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, though their words and songs, David Archuleta joined in. During his concert in New Jersey last week, where he opened up for Disney star Demi Lovato, David paid tribute to Michael Jackson.

David found out right in the middle of his show that Michael Jackson had died and was determined to pay his respects before he went on singing. Find out what he said below:

Right after the show David went to Twitter to tell his fans, “I can’t get over MJ. I know everyone’s talking about it but he deserves the respect. I hope people will appreciate what he’s done.”
