Here is Vanessa Hudgens singing “Everything I Own” in the movie Bandslam. The song will appear on the Bandslam movie Soundtrack CD as well. This is the only song that Vanessa is featured in according to the Soundtrack listing – which is pretty disappointing!
What do you think of the song? We definitely liked her better singing in High School Musical 1, 2 and 3, but maybe you think something different?

It’s different, much more of a rockish vibe then either of her first two records, but pretty good.
I personally really liked her first album, but her second album was average to me. I’d probably put this somewhere in between the 2.
Considering she auditioned by performing Amy’s “Rehab”, I wouldn’t expect the usual from her here.
