All the Miley Cyrus tickets that were previously listed on eBay have been taken down by the company. eBay is denying any pressure from Miley’s representatives to remove the tickets, however as Miley’s team made very clear before tickets went on sale, they were trying to prevent the resale of all of her concert tickets by making each ticket strictly electronic (paperless) and non-transferable.
eBay released a statement saying, “eBay decided to remove the listings of its own accord, there was no communication or involvement with Cyrus’s representatives. This was done under eBay’s presale policy, which states that the seller must deliver the item within 30 days of purchase. In the case of the Cyrus concerts that cannot be achieved right now. There are also concerns around fulfillment of these tickets as well as buyer experience similar to our decision on keeping them off StubHub.”
eBay is claiming that because the sellers can not guarantee the “shipment” of the paperless tickets within 30 days of the start of the listing, which is stipulated in the companies guidelines, that paperless tickets cannot be sold on the site until Miley’s concert tour gets closer.
The company said, “Once we get within the 30 day window of each show, the listings will be allowed on eBay with tight monitoring from eBay trust and safety, as well as seller and buyer messaging communicating the nature of the paperless ticket.”
What do you think of all of this? Does it help or hurt Miley? It’s already made her tickets sell slower than normal, that’s for sure…

How much do Miley Cyrus tickets cost For seats NEAR the stage? I love Miley cyrus’ songs and want to go to a concert in Denver. how much will 10th row seats cost??
Yeah, it hurts ticket sales, but in the end the true fans should have an easier time of getting reasonably priced tickets.
I have a problem with them doing stuff like this for events like the SEC football title game, because students just get a block and you don’t have an assigned seat, and b/c they went paperless the majority of students didn’t get through the line until AFTER the game had started.
But with a concert, all seats are pre-assigned so as long as it doesn’t take like 2 hours to get into the venue, I have no problem with it.
