In order to promote her upcoming album “Guilty Pleasure,” Disney star Ashley Tisdale will be starting a contest titled “Get a Clue” on July 17.

For the contest, Ashley will post video clues that will lead her fans on online scavenger hunts. The fans that collect all of the answers, and submit them on July 28 (the album release date) will be entered for a chance to fly out to meet Ashley at one of her shows.

It finally makes sense to us why Ashley’s album release date was pushed back. It was supposed to come out on the same date as the Jonas Brothers’ “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” which we thought was the reason for the move, however looking at the calendar we just realized that Ashley’s upcoming film “Aliens In The Attic” hits theaters 3 days after her album release (July 31), making her very relevant that week and hopefully boosting ticket sales.

Also during the week of her album release A.Tis will be hitting up numerous media outlets and talk shows to promote her CD. On the day it comes out (July 28) she will be on the Today Show. On the next day she will be talking with the ladies on The View. And finally, on the night before Aliens in the Attic premieres, she will be spending time on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
