Demi Lovato released some awesome information on Twitter about the soundtrack for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Demi said she was recording new songs with American Idol star Kara KioGuardi.

Kara wrote the original Camp Rock songs “We Rock,” and “The Middle.” She also co-wrote “Believe in Me” with Demi.

Kara has worked with Disney in the past, writing the song “Dream” for Hannah Montana: The Movie. She also has written “We Got the Party,” which was sung by Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers and “Supergirl,” which premiered on an episode of Hannah Montana.

She also wrote and produced the song “First” for the movie “Herbie Fully Loaded,” and wrote the song “Reach” for the movie “Ice Princess.” She even wrote and sang the song “Now You Know” from the original A Cinderella Story and wrote both “Ready” and “1-2-3″ for Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
