Way back last year at Miley Cyrus’ Sweet 16 birthday at Disneyland, Demi Lovato rumors started spreading that she was cutting herself. Everyone assumed that the Disney star had been cutting herself in order to relieve stress and anxiety.
Her representative spoke and said that the marks on Demi’s wrists were from the rubber bracelets she wears, “Demi was wearing gummy bracelets just prior to her appearance on the red carpet and, because of how tight they were, they left indentations on her wrist.”

those are cuttings i have seen theme before and if they were cause of the bracelets they would be in all of her wrist not only in that exact place they are all the ones that say its not true are dumb
Yeah those are cut marks. I’m a nurse and I KNOW that those are cut marks. Nobody said anything about hating on this girl. She needs psychiatric help and before it’s too late. All of you little girls need to grow up and face reality!

ive worn those bracelets before and elastics and everything else, and yes they do leave marks, but they look NOTHING like the marks on demi’s wrist. bracelet marks also go all around the wrist, not just in one spot. those are definitely cut marks. they might not be fresh, but definitely scars.

Ok….Those are scars. But they have been there for more then a week or two. Those are from at least 1 month. Or 1 month and a week. I know. I was a cutter for a long time.

If you look closely you can see that she has a glove on her left hand, so those marks have to be wrinkles in the glove. Calm down, every one. Demi didn’t cut herself.
Umm she’s definitely not wearing a glove. And I’ve been a cutter since 2006 and I know what cutting marks looks like, and those look like the marks one would get from cutting. I dont know if theyre current or a little older cuts/scars, but they definitely look like theyre cuts. And just because she’s a role model doesnt mean she goes through things. You dont know whats going on in someones life, so you are greatly in denial if you really think she wouldnt do something just because of her fans.

I agree with Rhianna. I am also a cutter and I am sorry to say. I am 95% sure she is one to. How is it that the bracelete only leaves deep red marks on the one part of her arm? And just because me or Demi or anyone else is a cutter doesn’t mean they are a bad person. its a mental thing. we cant help ourselves.for me its the only pain I can control. Physical pain is so much better than emotional pain. She needs an escape and I think its better than drugs don’t you??

I am a professional doctor and i know the difference between cuts and bracelet marks my daughter gets those marks all the time because of those jelly bracelets.I had a patient with a mother concerned because she found razors under her daughters pillow and the marks were skinny and very red around cut and she admitted the last time she cut herself was 2 weeks ago and the marks DID NOT LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!

I cut myself and I can tell you right now that those marks look just like cut marks, but that does not mean she cuts herself. Even though I personally think she does, I could be wrong.
