Trace Cyrus broke up with his ex girlfriend Hannah Beth, who he is pictured with in the photo above, in November 2008, but it looks like his old flame is somewhat back in the picture. Even though Trace and Disney Star Demi Lovato have been flirting on Twitter, it might not be the romance we all thought it was!

Trace and Demi sounded so excited to see each other – counting down the days until they were both in the same place same time, and telling each other that they couldn’t sleep they were too busy thinking of each other. However, we didn’t hear much about their time together when they did meet up, as they kept it really hush hush and refrained from gushing on Twitter like they normally do.

Although, now we’re worried it didn’t go so good.

Trace just posted on the picture above on his Twitter of his ex girlfriend with the title: “it’s crazy how this picture has stayed the background on my phone since before I left for japan. some things will never change. I guess I always stay the same… Trip to Malibu.”

That doesn’t sound promising for Demi…what do you think?

Demi and Trace each posted separately on Twitter last night before the picture was posted. And their posts looked like this:

Demi: “Now listen I think you and me have come to the end of our time.. What’d ya want some kind of reaction? Well, okay that’s fine. ”

Trace: “Another storybook ending.”

Demi: “Goodnight.”
