Sources are reporting that Miley Cyrus has her hopes up for the role of Batgirl in the upcoming Batman movie – which will be the sequel to “The Dark Knight.”
It has even been said that Miley attended an audition in front of the Warner Brothers producers to try out for the role.

She’s wayyyy to young and she’s never done an action movie like that.
Even though it bombed, the batgirl movie released like 5-10 years ago starred Hailie Barrie. She was chosen because she fit the mold, she was a fully grown woman who was suited for a powerful role like that.
I just can’t see Miley pulling that off. But then again Hailie didn’t exactly pull it off either.

That is completly wrong , if Miley Cirus becomes the next Batgirl it would be a shame for all the REAL artits who auditioned for that role , I mean she’s not a good actress, she’s too weak and too bad to play in a movie like Batman , she’s supposed to sing her little kitch songs and leave the actors world alone. I am a huge fan of Batman since i’m a little girl and I have the impression that if she plays in the next Batman she is going to destroy this wonderful world around Batman and the other carathers. She is so ridiculous, just think about it before Batman 3 there was The Dark Knight with the most memorable performance ever (the Heath Ledger’s Joker), and if she is chosen to do the Batgirl , it’s going to be the Worst performance in the history of cinema. I just saw her in Hannah Montana and she suck, so can you imagine what’s going to happen in Batman , she’s just not fitting in the mold
lol bolt was a kids animated movie. A movie that called for a KID actor. Batman calls for ADULTS. Seasoned adults who have action-adventure experience.

You know, I think she looks just like Frank Miller’s Batgirl in All-Star Batman and Robin. And I’d say that if she can land the part by having a good audition, showing that she has the acting chops, then by all means, go ahead! It would make sense, if Batman is on the run (end of TDK) to have someone who decides to step in for him, sort of like they did with the “imposter” Batmen in TDK, but Batgirl would actually have success where they failed. Thank God they’re at least considering using a teen, rather than an old, chubby hack like they did in Batman and Robin!

I mean, really! How could you go from a movie that’s based off a sheer violence, murder, assassination of public officials and terrorism – to having Hannah Montana jumping around like a little freak. In other news, Christian Bale is about ready to kill himself as well if she gets the part.

I don’t know if there should be a batgirl in the movies, this is batman in his early years and if there’s a no robin rule who’s to say there’ll be a batgirl? I just think miley’s too sweet for the part, batgirl should be a bit cold and dark. Like the star.
I think Miley Would be great as BatGirl! I just don’t think that THIS Batman Franchise is ever going to have a female lead in it. Christopher Nolan already Expressed that he would never put any of the female roles into his movies or introduce Robin. She may be a cameo for a young Barbara Gordon but that is as far as her role will take her.
first of all…hell no! i hate miley cyrus with all of my being. she is the worst thing that could ever happen to the world. and i dont want that ruining my favorite comics.
second she sucks at acting. she has that stupid lisp. she is ugly. and i dont want achey breaky heart to be the next batman theme song.
third she is in multiple contracts with disney. disney now owns marvel. the executives at both marvel and disney are greedy and jealous of their competitors. so why would they want their highest money making teen drama queen to move over to dc/wb.

To set the replies straight: Alicia Silverstone is the actress that played Batgirl. The only problem that she had that Miley may have is that the big pictures now require the present Bat heroes to know advanced martial arts. Although she is young, she may have time to get into a clan and learn how to really kick butt unlike her predecessor. So in conclusion even if she does want to star as her the picture would completely become too light if that’s what does happen it would be similar to what happened to the previous strand of movies after Tim Burton. Anyhow, a big fan of the story, films, comics and girls who kick butt. Good luck Miley if you do, if she does I would watch her and be content. The films do need a rock star on stage and really bring a good soundtrack back to the films like it use to be.
That would be the worst movie ever. Only because she is in it. Nobody wants her in a movie and if you do, you should not say, becasue 5 year old girls dont know what good acting is. I wouldnt watch the movie.
