David Archuleta Performing Solo Today

David Archuleta just alerted fans that he has a solo show today in Pittsburgh – and he asked if anyone was planning on going!

We’ve known for a while that Demi Lovato had taken a few days off of her tour because she had other events to work on, but we weren’t sure whether or not David would be able to perform on his own.

We definitely had our fingers crossed that he could though – we saw him open for Demi in concert in Boston, MA and he was amazing and we think he would definitely hold his own at a solo show full of Disney fans!

So, the big question is, who’s going to support David tonight!

  1. Never before have I wished to live near Pittsburgh, but today I do.

  2. omg – david killed it tonight in pittsburgh… he was electryfing as he sang tunes from his album, and ”stand by me”, and a cover of ”bubbly” by colbie caillat that will leave you breathless… david has toured solo before, and is more than capable of delivering the goods to his audience… he is unreal, and must be seen live to be believed. ”bubbly” below…. amazing.

  3. Not only can David “hold his own”, HE should be headlining any tour that he’s a part of. He’s an outstanding vocalist whose performances are far superior to any other act his age. While they rely on special effects to excite the crowds and cover their lack of musical ability, David just uses his pure voice and natural charisma to charm people of all ages. He truly is “amazing”!

  5. Supporting David @ Pittsburgh was Donora. They are a local indie band.

    Don’t about the other shows.

  6. This young man gives me goosebumps! His voice is amazing and I could watch him smile forever. I don’t even know why he was an opening act, when he commanded so many sold-out solo shows in the past. More! More!

  7. I had the privledge of seeing David triumph in Pittsburgh last night! His soul drives his music; it was magical! David is a gifted, special talent who can fly solo anywhere! I can’t wait until he returns to our city of champions; he fits in perfectly!

  8. OMG AMAZING!! i was at this show and it was so good! he was so amazing up there! he deserves to be headlining his own tour! when he sang bubbly everyone went crazy! it was so beautiful and he sang it better than the original. (although david does tend to do that a lot!!) haha but have to say if you weren’t there you really missed out. best concert of my life! he was out of this world amazing!!

  9. A year or so ago, when Randy Jackson said the David Archuleta could sing anything, he meant “anything”! I was in Pittsburgh last night and witnessed the best ever live performance by anyone, ever! His cover of “Bubbly” was remarkable, pitch perfect and spot on! If you ever get the chance to see him live, take it, I guarantee he will leave you wanting more!

  10. I am actually embarrassed for you and the person who wrote the above comments for you. You can say what you want about the reason for cancelling Demi’s tour dates. Every venue I called used “low ticket sales” as the reason for cancellation. David played to a sold-out crowd last night in Pittsburgh with very little advance time to sell it out. People who come to a David concert are coming to see David, and if you think he is holding his own to a bunch of Demi kid-fans, you are kidding yourself. You just missed the boat by having the wrong performer headline your tour. Had David headlined, you wouldn’t have had to cancel any of the tour dates. How embarrassing for you, Disney.

  11. LOL..Get your facts straight!! David not ablve to sing on his own???? Are you kidding me???…He is absolutely awesome is concert…that voice makes you buckle at the knees and melt. I am 40+ and that voice is perfect!
