Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron are in talks to do a movie together. The movie would be a remake of the classic TV series “Gidget.”
And it gets better, Miley and Zac would play love interests in the film! Yikes – we’re not sure how we feel about that…
In the film Miley would play a surfer girl – which we can absolutely picture and Zac would play the leading man in Miley’s life.
Sally Field and Frankie Avalon starred in the original “Gidget.”
Yay or nay on Miley and Zac being love interests on screen?

I think it could work .. I mean .. It is only a film .. So, yeah why not?
Interesting. I’d definitely check out the movie.
And lol yeah I think so people will overreact, but they’d only be playing love interests on screen. Think of all the movies you’ve seen that have love stories involved, and the infinitesimal (read: VERY small) number that actually translated to relationships off screen.

Ima say nayyyyy! Its cool their doing a movie, but love interests…not really. Then there’ll be gossip that zac and miley are really dating. And ppl might say that she’s going out with older boys again like justin gaston. And they might get a celeb couple nickname zailey, milac, or…something better, but I give it a nay
Absolutely not! Zac is perfect for a remake of the Gidget movies, because James Darren was the original “moondoggie”. But, Miley is no Sandra Dee, or any of the others who played Gidget in the movies, or Sally Field, who played Gidget on tv. She in NO WAY resembles their persona. Find someone who would click on screen with Zac better than Miley!
