Vanessa Hudgens Parade Magazine Interview

Vanessa Hudgens was recently interviewed by Parade Magazine and we found some things out about the Disney Star that we didn’t know before.

We’ve mentioned before that Vanessa loves having her own house to herself, but we had no idea how close she lived to her parents! Turns out Vanessa only moved 10 minutes down the road from her parents home. She says, “They helped me move. They helped me fix my house up. They know I’m growing up, and they’re proud that I can actually have my own home. I mean, of course I know they’re sad. I am so close to my family. I talk to my mom almost every day.”

Vanessa is so close to her mom that she even got her fired once! Vanessa says, “I was calling her at work way too much, because I missed her. Back then, I was so shy, I did not want to leave her side. I would call her at work nonstop, to the point where she got fired. It was horrible.”

Vanessa used to be extremely shy when she was younger, but on stage she could be whoever she wanted, and she loved it! No wonder she was so good in High School Musical! She says, “When I was young, I would not talk to anybody if I didn’t know them. I’d hide behind my mom if she tried to introduce me to anyone…When I was on the stage, I felt like I was hiding behind a person, and I adored it.”
