Today marks the 40th anniversary of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion ride. In celebration of the event 4 lucky park visitors will be able to sleep overnight in the rides famous elevator – creepy!
The elevator is the room in the ride that seems to stretch – showing all of the pictures on the wall grow and go from happy to scary. This is the room where all of the lights go out and a ghost voice tells you there are no windows, and no doors…and no way out!!!
A radio station in California (KLOS 95.5) hosted the competition for the chance to win a sleepover in the Haunted Mansion. This will mark the very first time that any park visitor will be allowed to spend the night at the Haunted Mansion ride in the park.
Given the opportunity to stay there overnight would you? We would love to spend the night in the park, but we’re not so sure about the Haunted Mansion after dark – we would probably get really scared!

yeah.. i think thats would be great.. but i think for the little kids that can not imagine or don’t know anything about disney.. poor childrens that would love to stop doing anything to go to this mansion or just enjoy and have a nice day.. Please do something whit those kids.. I don’t say this for me .. i say this thinking of them… Is hurt to say this.. and and much harder if it comes from me.. a girl whit 14 years. I wish do something for them but disney have more opportunities than me.. Disney can help them!
Of course I would! I highly doubt they’ll actually have the animation turned on all night that makes it seem like it’s stretching. And even if they did, I’d still love it haha
