Miley quickly responded, “Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don’t care. You’re afraid to love”
Why do you think the two ex’s feel the need to fight in public over Twitter instead of sending each other a personalized text message?

Probably it’s less intimidating to write it on Twitter and “pretend” they are not fighting, than to directly confront each other.

Who Cares, Nick and Miley make a better couple.
They are part of a generation that is very used to broadcasting their feelings (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, reality TV, etc). It wasn’t like that in the “olden days” according to psychologists.
Also, I bet they are trying to bring each other down. Would anyone know who Justin Gaston is if Miley hadn’t dated him? Miley probably feels secure enough in her own fame to believe that if they fight in public, people are going to take her side.

If you want privacy, talk on the phone or somewhere else that doesn’t involve third party viewings.
