Sadly Demi Lovato and David Archuleta have had to reschedule three of their concerts this week. Fans can decide if they would like to keep their tickets to the rescheduled shows, or if they would prefer refunds – which would make more tickets available to other fans who didn’t have tickets originally.
The shows that were moved are:
- August 22 – Atlantic City, NJ (Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort)
- August 23 – Providence, RI (Dunkin’ Donuts Center)
- August 24 – Manchester, NH (Verizon Wireless Arena)
The shows above were rescheduled to the dates below:
- October 29 – Manchester, NH (Verizon Wireless Arena)
- October 30 – Providence, RI (Dunkin’ Donuts Center)
- November 1 – Atlantic City, NJ (Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort)
Were you planning to attend any of the rescheduled shows?

You need to change the title to this article!!!!!
DEMI LOVATO POSTPONES SELECT DATES ON SUMMER TOUR AND HAS DONE IT BEFORE ON THIS VERY SAME TOUR!!!!
Leave David A. out of it…he scheduled solo concerts before when she did this just so his fans wouldn’t be disappointed. But Demi and Disney don’t care about their fans I don’t guess and are not considerate of David’s fans either. This is beyond my comprehension. Never heard of such a thing. I know one thing she has lost lots of fans over this. I could understand if she was deathly sick or someone close to her died or something but that is the only reasons I can think of that anyone in their right minds would cancel the last 3 shows on a tour days before the concerts…and I know for a fact one of them was sold out and all of David’s VIPS were sold out.
This is an unbelievable situation. I was not even aware that something like this could happen. Whatever became of “contractual obligation”? One would think that when an artist enters into an agreement to headline a tour and perform at certain venues on certain dates, that there would be some obligation on the part of that artist to fulfill that obligation.
The Atlantic City show was sold out. How many fans were slated to attend that one show alone? I hope miss Lovato remembers this when her next tour, if there is one, fails to sell. Who could have any confidence, after going to considerable expense and effort to attend one of her shows, that she will ulitmately show up? I doubt that those parents that were left holding the bag and explaining to their heartbroken children why the concert that they have been waiting to attend all summer was cancelled, and only a few short days before the show, will be willing to risk having to go through that misery again. Miss Lovato, this is a stunt a legendary diva such as Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey might possibly get away with relatively unscathed but, I’m afraid, you don’t even begin to fall into that category. When your career starts going south in the coming year, at least you won’t have to scratch your head and wonder what happened……you’ll already know. Enjoy your weekend off, Ms. Lovato.
