Walt Disney Studios and director Robert Zemeckis are in talks to remake the 1968 movie “Yellow Submarine.” The original animated film was based on the music by the famous band The Beatles.
The deal that is in the process of being negotiated would give the director access to 16 original Beatles songs for the movie. The film would be made in 3-D.
If the movie is in fact made it would hit theaters in the summer of 2012.
Would you see this movie?

Maybe
I would see it, buuuuut I disagree with the making of it. I think they should let it be. I happen to be a HUGE Beatles fan and I think this movie would just create fake fans like remakes always do. And no remake can ever touch the original when it comes to the beatles :]
yer great,i think it’s great.it let’s the new generation how special the beatles where .p 2 the p
HOW DARE YOU?!?!?! First you ruin modern music with the advent of Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, etc. Now you pick on one of my favorite movies?!?!? Are you TRYING to ruin everything I hold dear?!?!?
I know Zemeckis is brilliant and all, but he won’t be able to capture the psychedelia of the original movie. I am positive that this movie will be murdered in the process.
Another thing I don’t understand is WHY are you making this? Where is the market for this? No kids like the Beatles, and those that do, like me (13 years old and owns every Beatles album and movie out there) are smart enough to know how much of a ripoff this production is.
From Kidz Bop Beatles to this, everyone seems to want to ripoff the Beatles these days.
yes, i will see it…to make fun of it! how dare they!!! gosh!
