Disney Dreaming Weekly Recap August 17 – August 23, 2009

1. It sounds like Demi Lovato is getting a little bit over hearing what Trace Cyrus is up to – so she sent him a message the other day during one of her soundchecks. She changed the lyrics in one of her songs to be about Trace, and they didn’t seem too nice!

2. A new Demi Lovato music video was released for the song “A Gift Of A Friend” from Disney’s Tinkerbell Movie. Check out the new video here.

3. Miley Cyrus is about to release a new CD with 7 fantastic songs on it that you can preview here. The album will be available online and exclusively in Walmart stores.

4. Selena Gomez’s first single off of her upcoming album debuted on Radio Disney. The song is titled “Falling Down” and you can listen to it here.

5. While Miley Cyrus may not have a boyfriend, she was/is most certainly dating “The Last Song” co-star Liam Hemsworth. The two were spotted kissing at the airport saying their goodbyes before each heading home when the movie shoot was over. Guess we’ll have to see if their relationship continues long-distance.

6. Miley Cyrus’ dad Billy Ray Cyrus defended her dancing skills at the Teen Choice Awards 2009. Miley has been getting a lot of slack lately because of the way she was dressed while dancing and holding onto a pole.

7. Selena Gomez released the cover art for her upcoming album titled “Kiss And Tell.” The album is being put out by Selena’s band: “Selena Gomez And The Scene.”
