On Wednesday, August 19th, Disney’s Demi Lovato got to spend some time at the White House in Washington D.C.
Turns out President Barack Obama’s daughters Sasha and Malia love Demi, so they invited her over! Unfortunately it seems that no meet and great between Demi and the girls took place though!
Demi Lovato took to Twitter to alert her fans what she was up to, saying, “Just chillen’ in the white house…. Nbd.”
That sounds like so much fun for Demi! What do you think?

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Miley Cyrus’ dad Billy Ray Cyrus defended Miley’s choice to dance while holding onto a pole at this years Teen Choice Awards. The Disney Channel even refused to comment on the performance, and we know that many parents were up in arms against Miley afterward because they believe that Miley should try harder to be a role model.
But many of you have no problem with her performance and think she did nothing wrong. So many diverse opinions!
Here’s what Billy Ray had to say: “You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting. I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion. I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice. I think it’s important.”

Sadly Demi Lovato and David Archuleta have had to reschedule three of their concerts this week. Fans can decide if they would like to keep their tickets to the rescheduled shows, or if they would prefer refunds – which would make more tickets available to other fans who didn’t have tickets originally.
The shows that were moved are:
- August 22 – Atlantic City, NJ (Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort)
- August 23 – Providence, RI (Dunkin’ Donuts Center)
- August 24 – Manchester, NH (Verizon Wireless Arena)
The shows above were rescheduled to the dates below:
- October 29 – Manchester, NH (Verizon Wireless Arena)
- October 30 – Providence, RI (Dunkin’ Donuts Center)
- November 1 – Atlantic City, NJ (Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort)

Demi Lovato revealed to StarPulse that her mother used to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
In the interview Demi made very clear: “The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders were really respectful and they weren’t just girls that pranced around in little outfits…They’re really hard working. My mom tells me a lot of stories about how they would have to work so hard every single day. She would often tell me how sometime you couldn’t go get a drink of water on the field, even if you’re dying of thirst.
Wow! Did you know that Demi’s mom was a cheerleader?
