Disney Channel will be presenting a mini-marathon of it’s hit Disney Channel Original Series “Special Agent Oso” on Playhouse Disney Monday, August 24th.
The mini-marathon will consist of four episodes, including the premiere episode of the series and a brand new episode!
The new episode is titled “Tie Another Day / You Only Start Pre-School Once,” and will be shown at the beginning of the marathon on the 24th. The marathon will debut at 8 AM EST.
In the show Special Agent Oso is a stuffed bear who is a special agent in training who works with the television viewers to complete special missions. The voice of the panda bear is done by actor Sean Astin – who is best known for his role in the movies “The Goonies” and “The Lord of the Rings” series.
The other episodes that will be airing during the mini-marathon are titled:
- “Live and Jump Rope / A View to a Kitten”
- “The Girl Who Cheered Me / License to Twirl”
- “Hopscotch Royale / Gold Ringer”

For the 14th consecutive week the Disney Channel has ranked as televisions number 1 network for Tweens 9-years-old to 14-years-old. The station has also ranked number 1 for the 8th consecutive week for kids ages 6-11.
The numbers the Disney Channel has reached this year in terms of viewers has far surpassed the numbers the station reached last year for the same age demographics.
We bet most of these numbers have to do with Disney’s top shows: Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place!
