In Vanessa Hudgens’s most recent movie, “Bandslam,” she plays the character Sa5m (the 5 is silent). The role is very different from her most famous role of Gabriella in Disney’s High School Musical.
How did Vanessa get inspired for her new role? Turns out she watched a lot of The Addams Family television show and movies and based her character Sa5m off of the character Wednesday.
Vanessa told Sugar Magazine, “Don’t get me wrong, Gabriella was a great character to play – but she was a lot like myself, sweet and nice! Going out of my comfort zone to play the opposite of me and create a whole new person was really exciting…I watched The Addams Family a lot and tapped into Wednesday’s deadpan character. Plus I had to wear Dr Martens boots throughout the entire film. It was fun creating a whole new me.”

This romantic comedy “When In Rome” directed by Mark Steven Johnson is about an ambitious New York woman, played by Kristen Bell, who takes a trip to Rome for her sisters wedding and ends up taking coins out of the fountain of love rather than throwing one in for good luck. By taking the coins she ignites the passion of the individuals who had thrown them in.
Watch the trailer for the film above to see the type of guys that end up under the love spell and who in turn follow Kristen’s character around.
In the end she needs to figure out whose love is real and whose love was caused by the coins.
The film is rated PG-13 and is set to release to theaters on January 29, 2010.

Walt Disney Studios and director Robert Zemeckis are in talks to remake the 1968 movie “Yellow Submarine.” The original animated film was based on the music by the famous band The Beatles.
The deal that is in the process of being negotiated would give the director access to 16 original Beatles songs for the movie. The film would be made in 3-D.
If the movie is in fact made it would hit theaters in the summer of 2012.

On February 24th to the 26th the Nashville Convention Center will be hosting the 41st annual Country Radio Seminar. During the Seminar Taylor Swift will be performing a private concert for those in attendance.
Taylor will also be a topic of conversation at the panel discussion titled “The Taylor Effect.” The panel will review and analyze the marketing strategies that were used to get Taylor the success she enjoys today. Numerous Country Radio Programmers, Executives and Disc Jockeys will be there to hear what is discussed.
