Walt Disney World’s Swan And Dolphin Hotel Will Text You!

Disney Dolphin Hotel Text

We’re a little disappointed that when we stayed at the Dolphin hotel at Walt Disney World last week they didn’t tell us about this new feature at their resort – but regardless it sounds very cool!

The hotels now offer a text messaging program – meaning guests can sign up to receive text messages from the resort staff throughout their stay. The texts are full of savings and exclusive deals at the resorts restaurants, lounges and spa.

General Manager Paul Scott said, “We are constantly seeking the newest and most innovative ways to enhance the guest experience at our resort. Whether our guests are relaxing in their room, lounging by the pool or enjoying a day in the theme parks, they can access immediate savings from their mobile phone.”

The text messaging program is set to save hotel visitors money but at the same time it is expected that the hotel will make money off of the venture as well. The reason for this is that people are much more likely to spend money if they feel that they are saving money in the process. So while you may not go to the spa regularly, you will go if you have a coupon.

Hotel visitors will receive texts for four days, unless they opt in for longer, and they can opt out at any time.
