It is expected that this weekend at Disney’s D23 Expo it will be announced that the Star Tours ride at Disneyland will be getting a revamp makeover and will re-open in 2011.

The ride opened in 1987 and consists of a room full of seats that move in a way that simulates a flight through space. The ride is based off of the popular Star Wars films.
